Ancho Grande are dried Poblanos, they are aromatic, flexible and have thick-ish flesh with a fruity-sweet and liquorish flavour. This makes Ancho the dried chilli available. It is Used as a marinade, rub or as an additional ingredient for cooking. Ancho has a strong flavour, but a low heat of approximately 2500 SHU.
